A dodecahedron (pronounced "doe-decka-HE-drahn") is a twelve-sided shape. The use of this intriguing shape in jewelry allows for the creation of some pretty fabulous wearable chainmaille sculpture.
The dodecahedrons in these earrings and necklace measure 1/2 inch and weigh a mere 5g each, which is perfectly comfortable to wear. Carefully woven in sterling silver and 14kt gold fill rings, each earring features a Swarovski crystal inside to maintain the shape and for a bit of added sparkle. Ear wires are also sterling silver. The necklace comes on an 18 inch sterling silver Venetian box chain.
