Artist Programs
Monthly Featured Artist (FA): Once artwork is juried in by the managing members, a date is established to have artwork on display at the gallery for a month. There is a reception the first Tuesday evening of the month to introduce the artist and artwork to our clientele, as well as to invite artist’s friends. There is a $20 fee to offset advertising for the event and the commission to the gallery for sales of artwork during the month is 40%.
Extended Visiting Artist (EVA): Artwork is juried in by the managing members and space is allocated for the artwork to be displayed in the gallery on consignment. The commission to the gallery for sales of artwork is 40%. Performance of all EVAs is reviewed on a quarterly basis and each will remain in the gallery as long as the required standards of performance are met.
Associate Member (AM): Artwork, credentials, and references are juried in by the managing members. Requirements are a one year commitment, work four (4.5 hour) gallery shifts per month and perform behind the scene duties for the gallery. The Associate Member is allocated space for artwork and the commission to the gallery for sales is 25%.
Managing Member (MM): Artwork, credentials, and references are juried in by the managing members. Requirements are a one-time initiation fee of $750, 2 year commitment, $150 monthly rent to offset gallery operating expenses, work one day a week, and perform other necessary duties for the gallery. Commission is 10% of sales. Benefits include a monthly gallery sales percentage disbursement shared between members, a permanent storefront to sell your work and part ownership in a thriving and growing local gallery.
