October 2025 2-D Featured Artist Michele Geller

Michele is a fine art painter who works primarily in oils and acrylic on canvas, but also
creates in pencil, pastel, and watercolor. Michele’s work is eclectic. Each piece is a
unique vision of what is inspiring her “in the moment.” She often infuses realism with
abstract for a distinctive style.

She loves oil painting, because the thickness and texture of oil allows some 3-
dimensionality to a canvas. She often uses a pallet to create depth.

Michele also loves acrylic, and often starts with a pour painting for the background, and
then paints the subject and detail with brushes. The result is modern, funky and
abstract.

She is drawn to landscapes and nature. As with many local artists, she is inspired by
what she sees here in SW Florida.

She also specializes in pet portraits, and is adept at other subjects, including still-life
and people portraits. She loves the challenge of commissioned work and collaborating
with a client to deliver a special one-of-a-kind piece of art.
