May 2023 2-D Featured Artist Lance Henderson

Florida born artist, Lance Henderson, has been painting off and on for over 30 years. As a graduate of Liberty University’s Bachelor of Science program, he has never taken formal training in fine arts. Consequently, his unique oils exhibit talents that have been mostly self-taught through trial and error, something he recommends to others as they pursue their artistic aspirations. His award-winning body of work has been displayed primarily in Charlotte County, Florida.

Lance’s work mainly consists of landscapes and seascapes created with oils on various substrates. While the scene and size may vary, he hopes that each piece is a proponent of Psalm 19:1 and that his work also declares God’s majesty one canvas at a time.
