Former Michigan residents, David and Diane, along with their two cats, moved to Florida in 2005 and are currently residents of Cape Coral, Florida.

A chance to go to the beach while growing up was always tops on the priority list for David and Diane. Something about feeling the sand between their fingers and toes had such a grounding effect; as well as hearing the sounds of nature all around. They even were married barefoot on the beach. Being close to the beaches and nature; that is their inspiration.

Their love and enjoyment of the tropical lifestyle led them to want to share it through the products that they design and make. Their work is in multi-media, and reflects their wide range of interests. Wanting always to be in tune with nature; nature being their focal point, the majority of their work is done using only materials from Mother Nature herself. Everything has a bit of Florida in it.

David has worked in the past with hot glass. He brings his collection of hand blown glass paperweights to the gallery as well, and hopes to continue in the future with his work with glass blowing. He has been a featured artist at Harbor View Gallery as well as Joe Mathis Gallery in Punta Gorda.

Their sand work has been featured at the Fort Myers Beach Sand Sculpting Show, Siesta Key Beach Sand Sculpting Show and the Treasure Island Beach Sand Sculpting Show as well as many gift shops throughout most of Florida, the Carolinas and the Caribbean.

They are members of the National Association of Wedding Professionals as well as American Business Womens Association-Sanibel-Captiva chapter.

They are managing members of Harbour View Art Gallery in Cape Coral, FL.

To some, sand is little more than the grainy stuff that gets caught between your toes during a day at the beach. But to David and Diane, it is a wonderful art form and expresses their way of preserving a bit of nature's beauty in its many designs and forms with sand.

Still kids at heart, they still just love playing in the SAND!
