May 2022 2-D Featured Artist Susan Zablocki

Susan Zablocki grew up in the mid-west where her interest in art began at a young age. Her early sketches and paintings were inspired by the natural scenery and beautiful wildlife of Missouri. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO where she focused on the arts, design and business. Throughout her career, her passion for art extended to the graphic arts, interior design and retail industries.

 As an accomplished artist, she frequently paints from her photographs and visual memory. “Now that I reside in Cape Coral, my impressionist style of painting brings to life the vibrant colors of the ocean and gulf habitat as well as the picturesque landscapes of Southwest Florida,” she says.

 Susan’s work has been featured in several art galleries and art festivals in Missouri and Florida.
