Wendy has been an artist in residence at STARworks, North Carolina and her art has been exhibited at the Boehm Gallery in California, Florida CraftArt Gallery, Florida Morean Arts Center, and the Schoolhouse Gallery in North

Wendy Drummond, ceramic artist, grew up in New Zealand and later worked as a Geologist in California before moving to Fort Myers. 

Since childhood, she loved playing in the clays of coastal New Zealand. As she matured, she realized that clay was the medium that best expresses her art. Ironically, Wendy’s professional geology career also meant regularly having clay under her fingernails. For the past four years she has enjoyed wheel throwing and hand-building both functional and sculptural work with an emphasis on surface decoration, patterns and textures.
