March 2026 2-D Featured Artist Linda McQuinn

Linda McQuinn is a distinguished artist celebrated for her captivating large-scale acrylic
paintings on canvas. Her goal is to capture the essence of beauty and whimsy in her
surroundings. Having lived in diverse locations across the country, from majestic
mountains to bustling cities and serene forests, she now resides in Bokeelia, and now
draws most of her inspiration from the magical world of southwest Florida.
Her signature style is characterized by its dynamic loose brushstrokes, rich tactile
textures, and a vibrant expressive color palette. Her artwork presents joyful and
enchanting representations of tropical Florida’s splendor.
When not immersed in painting, Linda can be found conquering 100 mile ultra-running
events and traversing the roads of Pine Island, finding inspiration in the solitude and
freedom of those long runs. Studying contemporary masters such as Monet, van Gogh,
Gauguin and Rousseau has influenced her style with color, texture and movement.
Among other accolades, Linda’s art was chosen by the 47 th Naples National Art Fair to
represent the fair on their signature Tee-shirt and other promotional materials.
