SPECIAL EVENT, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31ST, 6:00 P.M.-7:30 P.M. ENTERTAINMENT BY TOMMIE DEE a/k/a TOM SIKORA

Tommie Dee, a.k.a. Tom Sikora, will entertain at Harbour View Gallery March 31 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Sikora, who lives at Cape Harbour, has always had music as a focal part of his life. “Even as a young child, it was music that captured my soul,” said Sikora. “My roots go back to the late 70s when I performed with many different bands, enjoying every unique sound they each embodied.”

He gave up his concentrated involvement in the music industry for nearly 30 years because of job constraints. However, he returned to his dream of creating beautiful music after retiring. While living in western New York, he played with several tribute artists who impersonated artists such as Johnny Cash, Elvis and Neil Diamond.

Since moving here a few years ago, he’s had engagements throughout southwest Florida. He now entertains audiences with the many oldies of legendary artists such as Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis and Dino. His mellow voice and audience engaging personality have gained him recognition in his new hometown of Cape Coral.

“I am blessed to hear so many compliments about my singing style and voice,” concludes Sikora. “My wife, Denise, and I are grateful for the opportunity of doing what we love while engaging others in our music. As we look back on our lives we are amazed at what has transpired. The passion that excited me as a young person, continues to fill our lives with joy and purpose.”
