July 2023 2-D Featured Artist Sue Kapuchinski
Sue Kapuchinski’s primary focus is oil on canvas. She bases much of her work on photos and sketches from her worldwide travels. She says they provide an endless source of inspiration for her. “I also enjoy painting the colorful Florida landscape,” she said. “The dramatic contrast of light and shadow offer an array of unusual compositions.”
Sue spent many years as a decorative fine arts painter selling to enthusiastic buyers in the southern New England region. She studied at Griselda Academy in Australia. Upon her return to Florida in 2003, she became an active member of the Punta Gorda Visual Arts Center and a member of the Sea Grape Art Gallery.
She is a member of the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County, the Charlotte County Art Guild, the Lee County Alliance for the Arts and the Venice Art Center.
