July 2021 2-D Featured Artist Sam Wilson

Sam Wilson is an illustrator and designer based in Naples, Florida. Growing up in Indonesia, he was influenced by the vibrant tropical colors and patterns of Indonesian art and nature. 

Sam has written and illustrated three children’s books: Swamp Shop tells the story of a printing shop overrun with Floridian wildlife. I Wish is the story of a jellyfish searching for her identity and True Colors is the story of a chameleon learning to feel comfortable in his own skin. 

He sells his original artwork, paints skateboard decks, designs logos, and provides solutions for the visual communication needs of his clients.
