January 2019 2D Featured Artist Ruben Dario Medina

My name is Ruben Dario Medina, I was born in La Havana, Cuba in 1969.  I graduated in sculpture and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts “San Alejandro” of La Havana in 1989.

In 1998 I moved to Italy, Milan, where I ended my artistic training.

For more then 15 years I have mainly worked on public, corporate and private commissions.  I made marble and bronze sculptures, above all figurative subjects. My most important works are in Italy, in public places, you can see them on www.rdario.com .

In 2015 I moved to Florida and I am realizing my new works.
