Having artistic parents, Resa gained inspiration through her Pacific Islander Mother, a matriarch who practiced the living art and balance of Ikebana, and her Father, a hobbyist film maker and photographer.

With a deep love and appreciation of creative energy, Resa still does not consider herself a creator, but a minimalist who photographs light.  She is drawn to images of the surviving unencumbered pockets of Old Florida – particularly the ecological diversity of an estuary, or the different faces of a shoreline, or the colossus banyan trees.  She is in constant search for what she calls “the moment of grace.”
