August 2018 2-D Featured Artists The Student Artists of North Fort Myers High
North Ft. Myers High School is the Arts magnet in the West Zone for the School District of Lee County and enrolls nearly 1900 students grades 9-12. These students may choose art courses in the areas of Ceramics, Painting, Photography, Drawing, and Printmaking. North’s visual art students received 30 awards in community shows and competitions this past school year and the 2018 visual art graduates received scholarships from prestigious art schools including Savannah College of Art and Design, Ringling, and NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Many of the students in this de novo show have participated in SoCo district events this past season.
