April 2025 3-D Featured Artist Nancy Green

Nancy L. Green is a fused glass and jewelry artist whose work combines her love of color and tropical imagery. She majored in Fine Art and Elementary Education in college, earning a BS and MS in Elementary Education degrees at Indiana University. She also completed a master’s degree in art education at the University of South Florida. She taught elementary art for many years here in Lee County Public Schools. Encouraging artistic expression and the use of different art materials and techniques helped promote the love of art in her students.

Nancy has enjoyed ceramics, watercolor and acrylic painting. She now specializes in fused glass, which combines the vibrant colors of paint and glaze, and the kiln firing techniques of ceramics and fused glass. “I use Wasser Glass, a thin, colorful and opaque glass to create unique pictures,” she said. “I love making and selling my work in Southwest Florida!”
