Carmen Sprague, who is originally from Lansing, Michigan, worked for General Motors Parts Division as their Editor and chief Photographer for the “Warehouse Views” and the “Communicator”. She owned and operated “Exposures”, a photography studio for 18 years and received an Applied Science Degree in Photography and Graphics from Lansing Community College’s Media Institute and Michigan State University.
“After a cancer diagnosis in 1996, I felt it was time to live the American Dream and relocated to the Florida Keys to live the artist’s life,” she said. In Key West she was the co-owner of “Artists in Paradise”.
Now that she resides in Cape Coral, she is president of the Cape Coral Art League as well as their office manager. She teaches digital photography classes through the art league.
