Double Drop Scallop Shell Necklace - Copper, Silver or Gold

Every gorgeous calico scallop shell is hand selected directly from the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Florida. I then clean and treat them using a five-step process that leaves them wonderfully shiny while also resilient and strong.

Shells may also occasionally be of the bay, scaly or rough variety, depending upon the current treasures available on the beach. Colors will vary between white, yellow, orange, red, purple, gray and any wonderful combination of these you can imagine.

Since nature presents the sizes of shells at her whim, they measure approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch each, depending upon what treasures are currently available on the beaches.

Your Double Drop Necklace will be handcrafted to order, so please allow one week for production before it ships in a box perfect for gifting or as a special treat for yourself.

You may choose between:

Raw copper which naturally oxidizes beautifully into a scrumptious auburn color, enhanced by lustrous rose quartz;
Argentium sterling silver which is the most tarnish-resistant sterling silver on the market AND is also one hundred percent recycled silver (yay!), enhanced by juicy garnet ; and
14kt gold fill, which will maintain its color exquisitely over time, enhanced by rich, velvety carnelian.

Shells are carefully chosen to match your metal and stone choices.

The shell drop on this necklace is approximately 3/4" x 1 1/2"; the outer drop is approximately 1 1/4" x 2". The rosary-style bead chain adjusts from 16" to 18".
