Preston McCrary – Photography
McCrary Photography LLC has been in business since 2008.  From Portraits, Weddings and Special Events to On Location, Commercial and Aerial Photography- McCrary Photography does it all!  The company has evolved throughout the course of time and in 2011 began to increase their Fine Art Portfolio, as well as their Drone Division, expanding their fleet of drone aircraft.  This division does real estate video and photography to mapping construction sites.  It is amazing what a different perspective can produce!
Preston McCrary attended the New York Institute of Photography and is a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).  He continues his photography education by attending workshops and seminars throughout the country.
He has traveled abroad to London and the European Continent as well as the Spanish Isles.  During this expedition he was able to capture many notable sights as well as the natural beauty of the countryside.
After returning from Europe, he has dedicated many hours in photographing the allure and charm of Florida.  Many of his pieces include the locales of Matlacha, Fort Myers and nearby beach areas.  A recent excursion to the Hawaiian Islands has expanded the portfolio to include many beautiful pieces of the terrain and the native people and customs.

Sandy (Mary) O’Grady - Basket/pottery & Stone art
Mary “Sandy” O’Grady has been a current and permanent resident of Punta Gorda, Florida since 1999 and plans to stay. She has lived in many other states but this is where she calls home.
She started experimenting with art when she retired in 2014 when she began to explore her passion. In August 2013 her German shepherd was bitten by a rattle snake. She stayed home with her to nurse her through. She needed to keep her hands busy and remembered she had taken a class in pine needle basketry. She had pine trees in the yard and so it began. She made several baskets for friends and family.
In 2014 She talked with an artist at Seagrape Gallery and applied to be a member. She was accepted and in the first 12 month sold 40 baskets. She started with the usual bases of nuts and agates; however, she has started creating her own pottery bases. . She also uses shells and other local items. She wants her baskets to be original materials of SWFL as much as possible. Each of her creations is unique and never duplicated.
